Their delightful essays will be featured in the next installment of the Mystics series called "Mystics in the City Part 2," available on Apple's iPad, Amazon's Kindle, Barnes & Noble's Nook, Sony's Reader, DuntonPublishing.com and MysticsintheCity.com.

Prizes include autographed scripts from Michael Douglas (Romancing the Stone) and NY Governor Mario Cuomo (his famous 1984 speech), Irish Arts Center Membership, Dandelion Tote Bag, Real Deal Brazil Hat, PureGlassBottle, I Am Enlightened Nutrition, Redd Remedies, Greenpan Frypans, PG Tips (tea), and Purple Prairie Gift Bag (Lavender).

The winning essays will be combined in the E-book with the essays of a brand new contest which begins October 1, 2011, for kids ages 13 - 18. So both adult and teen mystics will be represented! This new contest will be sponsored by The Riverside Church and The New York Foundling and will ask the same spiritual questions. Prizes for the upcoming contest include an iPod and cash. IF YOU'RE BETWEEN THE AGEST OF 13 - 18, YOU'RE INVITED TO ENTER THE NEXT MYSTICS CONTEST

Subject: How does your town or city enhance your spiritual life? What's your secret to maintaining your peace, creativity, courage, humor & well-being no matter what? Writers of all ages welcome. A mystic has been defined as, "A person who claims to attain, or believes in the possibility of attaining, insight into mysteries transcending ordinary human knowledge." Contestants need only believe in the possibility.
Length: 250 - 750 words.
Deadline for submission: November 15, 2011.
Winners announced: December 15, 2011.
Prizes: The best 10 stories will be selected to be in Mystics in the City Part 2. The ebook will available on Amazon (in over 100 countries including the U.K.), Barnes & Noble, Apple, and Sony Reader.
